University of Costa Rica (UCR)

- PRONAPLAMED (the Natural Products and Medicinal Plants Program) has the goal of establishing an interdisciplinary and inter-institutional group for the consultation, study, use, and application of natural products and medicinal plants that contribute to improving the quality of life of the Costa Rican population.

- UTT - The Technology Transfer Unit.
This office provides support to the institutes, research centres and laboratories, and the technological development center. Its goal is enhance and improve the linkage mechanisms between the University of Costa Rica and the industrial sector, the public and society in general.
